Joining a guild
Two routes in: you apply to them, or they invite you.
Route 1 — apply from Discover
Discover Guilds in the sidebar (or /guilds, which works signed out) lists every public guild.
-
Filter the list: type into Search guilds... and press Enter, and/or click a game chip to narrow to one game.
-
Each card shows the guild avatar, description, member count and how many events they run per week. Click the card body to open the guild's public page for the full picture.
-
Press Join on the card, or Ask to Join on the public page. If you are signed out you are asked to sign in first and returned to the same guild afterwards.
-
The Request to Join panel opens. Write a short note in Why do you want to join? (optional, 2000 characters), then tick the characters you would bring on the right — also optional, but officers strongly prefer applications that include them.
-
Press Submit Application.
Your application then sits on your Home feed under Needs you as Application to {name} pending, with a Withdraw button. Guild cards show a Pending tag instead of Join while it is open.
What happens on their side: an officer sees your application in Guild → Manage → Recruitment, picks which roles to give you, and accepts. The characters you selected are added to the guild at that moment — not before. You get a Discord DM with the decision if your Discord is linked.
Route 2 — accept an invitation
If someone invites you by email address or Discord ID, the invitation shows up in two places:
- On Home, under Needs you, as a card listing Roles you'll receive: with Accept and Decline.
- As a Discord DM with the same two buttons, if your Discord account is linked. Pressing a button there does the same thing — the DM is then edited to show the outcome and the buttons disappear.
After you accept, TRAX immediately asks Add Characters — Select characters to bring to {name}. Tick the ones you want available to that guild and confirm, or press Skip and do it later from My Characters → character → Guilds.
Nothing is exclusive. A character can belong to several guilds at once, and you can be in as many guilds as you like. Your permissions are worked out per guild.
Once you are in
Check the guild's Overview tab for the announcement and description.
Make sure your characters are attached to the guild — see Characters.
Open the LFG pill and declare what you are up for. That is what feeds auto-match and lets people build rosters around you.
Look at the Calendar and join anything you like the look of.
