TR@X Guide Back to TRAX

Getting started

Create an account, learn the sidebar, and know what happens on your very first sign-in.

Create an account

Go to Sign up. Three ways in, all equivalent:

  1. Continue with Discord — the fastest option, and the one we recommend. Linking Discord up front means TRAX can DM you invitations and reminders straight away. See Discord.

  2. The Google button — sign in with a Google account.

  3. Email — fill in Name, Email Address, Password and Confirm Password, then press Create Account. Passwords must be at least 8 characters. You are sent to the sign-in page afterwards.

No password reset yet. The Forgot your password? link on the sign-in page is not wired up. If you lose an email password, ask on the support Discord.

Just looking?

The Landing page has a Try the demo button that drops you into a pre-populated guild with characters, events and activities already set up. Nothing you do there touches a real guild, and demo data is cleaned up automatically.

Your first screen

If you are not in a guild yet, TRAX sends you straight to Discover Guilds rather than Home — there is nothing to show on a dashboard until you belong somewhere. Read Joining a guild next, or create your own.

Once you are in a guild, Home becomes a three-part feed:

The sidebar

On the left (or behind the menu button on mobile):

ItemGoes to
HomeYour feed.
CalendarEvery event you can see, plus event creation.
My GuildsThe guilds you belong to.
My CharactersYour characters.
Discover GuildsThe public guild directory.
LFG (cyan pill)The Looking For Group hub. It pulses and shows a count while you have characters looking.

Below those: a cog for settings (support link, language, and this guide) and your avatar for Profile / Signout.

Activities are not in the sidebar on purpose. They are a guild-level template and automation concept, so they live in Guild → Manage → Activities. See Activities.

Language

Click the cog in the sidebar and pick EN, FR or ES. While you are signed in this is saved to your account, so it follows you between devices — and it also sets the language of the Discord direct messages TRAX sends you. Guild channel messages use a separate, guild-level setting; see Discord.

What to do next

  1. Create a character — most things in TRAX need one.

  2. Join a guild, or create one.

  3. Declare LFG so your guild knows you are around.
